Pediatric Occupational Therapist Position

Our pretty fantastic multidisciplinary team here at Eastside Therapy Services is growing! We are a small and close knit group of providers operating under a multidisciplinary and naturalistic therapy model. We believe in a holistic approach to pediatric therapy services!

We have been serving families for over eight years and just opened up a new therapy center in charming Gilman Village. Our new naturalistic therapy center replicates an environment children would typically find themselves in and that any child would love to spent the day playing at! We even include an animal assisted therapy program where children and staff can interact with families in our outdoor therapy center. Our indoor therapy center has the feel of a bright, and warm early learning play area!

Our team takes pride in developing an individualized and holistic approach to services for each of our patients, as well as an individualized experience for each provider. There is flexibility to work part time, full time, or to dive deep and help create a program that enables you to focus on your professional interests.

 

Our current opening is the ideal fit for an OT who has a diverse background which includes providing intervention in both the areas of sensory processing, self-regulation, and fine and gross motor, feeding all using a play based approach to build skills

This particular role will be working in our new clinic mostly, with some home and school settings as well. We include paid drive time as well as working with the multidisciplinary in both evaluations and treatment.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments including to determine eligibility for services.

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver meaningful services.

  • Create dynamic and comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Provide direct services including parent coaching and school consultation.

  • Attend clinical meetings with our clinical director.

  • Maintain documentation within the company EMR system.

  • Collaborate with the service team to maximize the clients learning across environments.

  • Participate in program development in our new center!

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited University program.

  • A natural team player who genuinely enjoys working with others.

  • Experience with play based interventions

  • Committed to helping your patients reach their full potential.

  • Current Washington State License.

  • 2+ years experience as a pediatric OT working in home and clinic settings.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
