What Is The Safe And Sound Protocol?
The Safe and Sound Protocol is a gentle, evidence-based listening therapy designed to help your nervous system feel more calm, connected, and safe. Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, the creator of Polyvagal Theory, SSP uses specially filtered music to "tune" your brain and body to better handle stress and improve emotional regulation.

What Does A Safe And Sound Protocol Session Look Like?
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is now more flexible than ever. Originally delivered in five 1-hour sessions, it can now be spread out over several shorter sessions. The core program includes 5 hours of filtered music, with additional, less filtered options available for a gentler experience. Timing can be customized to fit your child’s needs and schedule.
